Region 3/5

Elyse is a junior at Kelseyville High School, and she is ecstatic to meet and lead so many amazing people from her region. She has been in FCCLA for two years, going on her third one. During this time she took an interest in salad preparation, scoring first for her region’s level two competition, and then going on to place third at state. Previously a chapter officer, Elyse now takes on the role of Region 3/5 President. Along with her pursuits in FCCLA, Elyse also loves hiking, swimming, and backpacking; she hopes to become a park ranger in the future! Indoors her hobbies include a wide range of creative endeavors, including crochet and doing intricate nail designs. Elyse hopes to create a welcoming and a non-judgmental environment, letting everyone find their place in FCCLA!

Kimathi Atkinson is a Senior at Piner High School and is honored to serve as the Region ⅗ First Vice President for the 2026-2027 year. This is his third year in FCCLA, and throughout his time in the organization he has served as a Chapter Historian, competed in Food Innovations alongside VP of Finance Julie Tran winning 1st at SLC two years in a row, and is now a region officer. Through competitions and experience as a chapter officer he has gained leadership experience, learning important communication, organization, and initiative skills. This year he wants to encourage members to participate in all FCCLA has to offer such as their national programs and local service initiatives. In his free time he enjoys making music and playing piano, listening to Pink Floyd and Stevie Wonder, watching anime, and reading books. After high school he plans to get a degree in Chemical Engineering and pursue a career focusing on water treatment and desalination.

Zoe is a senior at Maria Carrillo High School and is so excited to serve as region 3/5 VP of competitive events. Zoe is going into her third year with FCCLa. She has competed in salad preparation and baking and pastry. FCCLA has helped her grow in confidence and public speaking. Zoe loves to hike, cook, hangout with her friends, and go swimming in her free time. She is so excited for the years to come!

Julie Tran is a Senior at Piner High School and is incredibly honored to serve as region ⅗ Vice President of Finance. This is her third year in FCCLA and throughout her time in the organization she has served as a chapter member, chapter officer, and now a region officer. She has also competed in the STAR event Food Innovations alongside First Vice President Kimathi Atkinson where they won 1st at state twice in a row and therefore advancing to nationals both years. This year as region officer she hopes to see the region succeed in many ways such as allowing members to grow closer connections with other members in the region and seeing more participation in STAR events. Through her competitions and volunteer work within FCCLA she has gained communication, leadership, and time management skills. During her free time she enjoys volunteering, going to photobooths, and being spontaneous. After high school she hopes to attend a 4-year university and study business administration.

Sawyer Miller is a senior at Maria Carrillo High School and is happy to serve as your 2026-2027 Region 3/5 VP of Membership. This will be her third year in FCCLA. During her second year, she and her two teammates competed in the Food Innovations STAR Event and earned second place at the California State Leadership Conference. Through FCCLA, she has developed strong leadership, communication, and teamwork skills while building meaningful friendships and connections across the state. Outside of FCCLA, Sawyer enjoys baking, volunteering whenever she can to help others, listening to Radiohead, and camping with her dogs. As Region 3/5 Vice President of Membership, Sawyer hopes to increase member engagement, encourage more students to participate in FCCLA and STAR Events, and help every member feel welcomed, connected, and excited to make the most of their FCCLA experience.

Olivia O’Donnell is a senior at Dublin High School and is excited and honored to serve as your 2026-2027 Region 3/5 VP of Public Relations. This will be her third year in FCCLA and she is a returning officer for Dublin High School, serving as the chapter’s president. For the last two years she has competed at the state level in creative cakes and menu planning/table design. She got first place in her category for menu planning/table design the past school year. Through STAR competitions and volunteer events, she has improved her communication and time management skills. She has worked with so many people to get projects, posts, and volunteer events done that she feels connected to the people in her chapter and confident for the next level. Outside of FCCLA, Olivia is on the varsity wrestling and throws team for her school. She also loves to create art, watch One Piece, and listen to Billie Eilish. This year she hopes to make the region a little bit bigger and better than how she started with it. She wants to help bring in more creativity and fun for new members and to get people excited about FCCLA.

Mrs. Cramer is a Culinary Arts instructor at Kelseyville High School and 26/27 marks her 35th year teaching. She has been married for 33 years with two daughters aged 24 and 26. This is her 9th year (6th actively) as a FCCLA advisor and her 2nd as region coordinator. Although credentialed in both Social Science and Home Economics Single Subject, she feels that teaching Culinary Arts is her real passion allowing her to connect with students through food. She truly enjoys seeing the growth in her students by their involvement in FCCLA. Her goal this year is to grow the region in more schools, advisors and members.
