Region 9

Alfred is a senior at Rowland High School. This is his 3rd year in FCCLA and being part of FCCLA has helped him build his public speaking and networking skills. His goal this year is to help Region 9 win Cheerpalooza at the State Conference and help members build lasting memories. Alfred does Track & Field, Cross Country, likes hanging out with friends, and matcha!

Hannah is a senior at West High School and is entering her third year in FCCLA. As First Vice President, her goal is to inspire more students from diverse backgrounds to get involved in FCCLA while creating meaningful memories and lasting connections. FCCLA has helped Hannah grow as a leader by strengthening her public speaking and event-planning skills. Hannah is passionate about environmental policy, enjoys drill, loves to hang out with friends and sushi!

Dayana is a Junior at Paramount High School this is her 2nd year in FCCLA. Her goal is to make connections with new people and make fun memories! Dayana is a part of PTLA, CSF, and ASB. She enjoys watching all different kinds of shows and spending time with her friends and family.

Ethan is a Senior at Rowland High School and this marks his 4th year in FCCLA. He’s played basketball for 13 years and ran track & field in high school for 2 years. He actively participates in school clubs such as FBLA and CSF, and is a co-founder of Sunlit Empowerment- a nonprofit focused on delivering solar-powered lights internationally to areas in need. In his free time, Ethan enjoys reading psychology-related research papers and playing NBA 2k26! He is very passionate about his position as Region 9 Vice President of Finance and is very excited for the year!

Christian, a junior at Paramount High School, has been amazed by his first year in FCCLA. As a Region 9 Officer, he is dedicated to meeting all membership requirements and will do everything in his power to make the most of his time in FCCLA. His professionalism is unmatched, and his outgoing personality is sure to make a positive impact on those around him. Outside of FCCLA, Christian is involved in a dual enrollment program, serves as a student ambassador for UCI, is an officer for his FCCLA chapter, and is a member of CSF and PTLA. In his free time, Christian enjoys eating sweets like bingsu, baking a variety of delicious treats, and staying up late.

As a self-taught creative, she has developed experience in media, marketing, and communications, working with local businesses and contributing her talents to FCCLA at the chapter, regional, and state levels, where she proudly became a state and national winner. Through her journey, Ashley has discovered that leadership isn't about having the loudest voice; it's about having the courage to use your voice to make a difference. Outside of FCCLA, she dedicates her time to serving her community through several animal shelters, sports, clubs, businesses, and youth programs. Let us make Region 9 win the best Scrapbook at State!

Mrs. Taylor has been teaching FCS classes and advising FCCLA State, Region and Chapter members for over 20 years at Rowland High School. She is a graduate of CSU, Chico majoring in Child Development with a minor in psychology. She teaches in the Child Development and Education pathway courses called Child Development, Life Management and Parenting & Family Life. She is married with two children, ages 16 and 13. Her favorite part of teaching is seeing students connect with her in their journey through high school and after they graduate, hearing how she helped them in so many ways. She enjoys advising FCCLA because of the relationships fostered over the years as their advisor, watching them dare to challenge themselves and take on bigger responsibilities at school and later on in life.
