Sammie Sites is your 2024-2025 Region 4 President. She is a junior at the Oak Ridge High School Chapter of FCCLA where she served as chapter president for the 2023-2024 school year. This is her 3rd active year in FCCLA. In her sophomore year, Sammie competed in nature themed creative cakes and won first place. Outside of FCCLA you can find her mountain biking, baking something delicious, or hanging out with friends and family. Fun fact, she is also a link crew leader. This year she is “daring to dream” of opening a small at home bakery and making it to nationals in baking and pastry.
Drumroll, please, for your 2024-2025 Region 4 Vice President, Kayley Phan! She is a junior from the Cordova High Chapter of FCCLA. With 2 years in FCCLA, she has also been involved in student government for 3 years, serving as class president. When not participating in FCCLA activities, you may see her on the track, volunteering, or being very studious. A fun fact about her is that she wants to learn how to play her hot pink electric guitar and the piano. She "dares to dream" by aspiring to inspire everyone she meets along her odyssey.
Scarlett Stephens is your 2024-2025 Region Secretary. She is a senior from the Oak Ridge High Chapter of FCCLA. This is her third year as an active member of FCCLA and was her Chapter’s Vice President during her junior year. During her previous two years in FCCLA, she competed in Culinary Display. She even won first place in Level 2 Breads for both Regionals and States during her sophomore year and silvered in Level 3 Decorated Wedding Cakes during her junior year. When she isn’t doing FCCLA related activities, she participates in the environmental club at her school and dance classes. She also enjoys knitting, baking, and playing video games in her freetime. This year, she will “dare to dream” by expanding her current skill sets through a competitive event that she hasn’t participated in yet.
Sam Barahona is your 2024-2025 Region 4 Treasurer! A senior from Foothill High School who is happy to have become an important part of the organization after only being in FCCLA for one year. This year she is “daring to dream” of ending the school year as a part of the top ten. Outside of FCCLA you may see her on the volleyball court or with her friends! In her leisure time Sam loves chilling with her 2 pet dogs Nala and Milo, drawing, or playing video games. She was named "Most Creative" in her chapter of FCCLA and competed in Repurpose and Redesign her junior year. She often takes advantage of the skills she learned competing to flip her clothing finds and expand her wardrobe, although many would say she has too many clothes.
Camila Flores is your 2024-2025 Region 4 Historian! She is going on two years of being a part of FCCLA. Aside from that, Camila is a junior from the Cordova High Chapter of FCCLA. Camila is involved with theater at her school and personally enjoys doing photography. Other small facts about her are in her free time Camila loves to draw, she loves to hang out with her friends and family or her cats, and play Minecraft. This year, she is "daring to dream" by striving to make a meaningful impact, whether in her own life or in someone else's, as her current plan for her future is to go wherever the wind takes her (with her cats of course).
Roman Orlov is your 2024-2025 Region 4 Reporter! He is planning to motivate others about the many wonders of becoming a reporter. This will be his 2nd year in FCCLA where he plans to be a strong member of his chapter’s Christian club and FCCLA chapter. Roman has completed 2 years of FCS classes in sports medicine. Despite his intimidating demeanor during certain FCCLA events, you may catch him acting childish and spontaneous many times. When Roman is not working he spends his free time playing video games or hanging out with his friends and brothers. Although he is the second youngest brother in his family of six boys he “Dares to Dream” by providing care to anyone that has been hurt in sport related activities with his knowledge from his sports medicine class! In the future, Roman plans on becoming a Doctor and helping his community.
Mrs. Goldman currently teaches at Oak Ridge High School in El Dorado Hills. This will be the beginning of Mrs. Goldmans twenty-fifth year teaching and advising FCS classes and her third-year teaching at Oak Ridge High School after numerous years of working in the hospitality industry and being owner/operator of her apparel construction business ‘SewWhat’? specializing in wed- ding dress design. Mrs. Goldman has been married to her husband for forty-six years this November. If being a twin wasn’t entertaining enough, Mrs Goldman shares her birthday with their two sons, Daniel (39) and Jonathon (36) as well. This is Mrs. Goldmans third opportunity to be Region 4’s coordinator and has enjoyed being an advisor to chapter members and officers, region officers and state officers too. She truly enjoys the relationships she shares with her comrades at arms as advisors and her students, relishing assisting them in their quest to be successful in their endeavors. Mrs. Goldmans ‘Dares to Dream’ to continue to instruct until she is realllyyy ready to retire.
